Safety Management II 1.4 CEUs Course Description: Advance your knowledge and begin applying practical tools for implementing and evaluating safety management systems in Safety Management II, the second course in the three-part ASSP Safety Management Certificate series. Building on the principles from Safety Management I, this course helps you strengthen and operationalize your safety efforts. You’ll work through interactive activities and discussions designed to deepen your ability to:
Evaluate and select safety management system models for your organization
Implement performance metrics and leading indicators that improve decision-making
Measure and monitor your system's effectiveness
Enhance safety performance through training, communication, leadership, and ethical practices
Completion of this course brings you one step closer to earning the ASSP Safety Management Certificate. Participants must complete all three courses in the series to qualify for certificate.
Earn the ASSP Safety Management Certificate This course is part of the Safety Management Certificate Program offered by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). To earn your certificate, you must complete all three required courses within two years:
Safety Management I (January 12-14, 2026)
Safety Management II (March 3-4, 2026)
Corporate Safety Management (April 6–8, 2026)
Upon successful completion of the full program, you’ll receive the ASSP Safety Management Certificate, an industry-recognized certificate that demonstrates your knowledge of essential safety management principles and your commitment to professional growth in occupational safety and health (OSH).
