Basics of Building NEW COURSE!!
Instructor: Michael Strong
Build your housing industry expertise by learning about the residential construction process from the ground up. Those in housing and construction-related fields, like vendors, suppliers, brokers, retailers, builder/remodeler company staff, REALTORs® and others will learn what it takes to build or remodel a home. With that knowledge, you will learn how to build more effective and profitable relationships with the builders and remodelers you work with.

About the Presenter
Michael Strong, member of the Pankow Blue Net Zero Energy Team in the San Francisco Bay Area, is building a NZE Charter School in Oakland, CA. Past President of Brothers Strong, Inc. a nationally recognized residential remodeling firm and GreenHaus Builders, builder of LEED Homes, Michael is enjoying his transition from residential to commercial construction and the wealth of knowledge he is learning along the way. Michael’s companies have received many recognition and awards, however, Michael is most proud that Brothers Strong was named "One of the 101 Best Companies to Work for in the Residential Construction Industry" by Cahners Publications in 2002 and 2003 and the NAHB Green Building Advocate of the Year in 2008. Michael has served on the H.U.D. Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing committee since 2001. He has an MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA; an MA from Southwest Texas State University; and a BA from the University of Texas in Austin.
