Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Refresher Course
(Meets U.S. EPA Requirements 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart L)
This course is designed for professionals who have previously completed the EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Initial Certification and need to renew their certification. The refresher course reinforces key lead-safe work practices, regulatory updates, and compliance requirements to help prevent lead contamination during renovation, repair, and painting (RRP) projects.
Federal law requires firms performing RRP work in homes, childcare facilities, and schools built before 1978 to have at least one EPA-certified renovator on staff. Certified renovators must complete refresher training every five years to maintain compliance.
